The Courage To Cast Out Devils

THE COURAGE TO CAST OUT DEVILS

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Saturday, 12th August, 2017.

📜 SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(Matthew 10:8)
“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”

🔹 🔹 🔹
Every believer has been given the authority to cast out devils in the name of Jesus. (Mark 16:17). Being born again, you have the right to use the Name of Jesus to effect the will of God on the earth, and to enforce obedience from every spirit. Glory to God!

Our scriptural text today opens our eyes to the fact that not every sickness requires medical treatment. Demons are responsible for a lot of sicknesses humans suffer from, and often times, if the demons are not cast out, there is no way the sufferer can be whole.

The Name of Jesus commands respect even in hell, and no demon can resist the Name when spoken in revelation and faith. Therefore, if you encounter any sick person today or find yourself faced with any sickness or disease, first use the Name of Jesus to subdue every demon or devil responsible for such anomaly. Cast out that demon in faith in the name of Jesus and he will flee. ( James 4:7).

The Courage To Love

THE COURAGE TO LOVE

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Friday, 11th August, 2017.

 ðŸ“œ SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(1 Peter 4:8)
_“And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”

🔹 🔹 🔹

God’s love towards us is stronger than any mistake or character flaw we might ever exhibit. Our scriptural text today stresses that it is love that covers the multitude of sins.

For us as believers, being kindly affectionate towards other believers is our nature (Rom. 12:10). We are fashioned to cherish other believers as our own kindred in Christ so that even when a misunderstanding arises amongst us, we are never quick to cut off from one another, just like a mother would never do away with her suckling child. In letting love reign amongst us, we forgive those who hurt us, behaving like our Father whose love brought us forgiveness and the redemption of our souls. Glory to God!

Therefore, ask the Lord to fill your heart with more of His love today, and be ready to allow that love flow towards other believers as you let go of negative emotions towards them. Love is your nature, and so is forgiveness. Amen!

The Courage To Think Big

THE COURAGE TO THINK BIG

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Thursday, 10th August, 2017.

 ðŸ“œ SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(Proverbs 23:7a)
_“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…”

🔹 🔹 🔹

When we talk about asking and receiving from God, many believers only know that there is a God in heaven who answers prayers. Well, while that is true and valid, there is a deeper truth which we see in scriptures: He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think. Glory to God!

However, the process of assessing the deeper levels and greater plans of God for us begins with us longing for and desiring them. When God’s Word comes to you as a promise, you have the responsibility of desiring its fulfilment, playing it over and over in your mind until you see yourself in possession of that promise. Halleluyah!

What you see yourself become in your mind is what you will eventually become. Thus, by brooding on the promises of God and dreaming of the next level that He has shown you, you will be translated by God’s Spirit into that new level in your career, business and endeavours. Say Amen to that.

The Courage To Overcome Persecution

THE COURAGE TO OVERCOME PERSECUTION

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Wednesday, 9th August, 2017.

 ðŸ“œ SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(Luke 23:34)
_“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”

🔹 🔹 🔹

Jesus already made it clear that persecutions will definitely come to those who believe in His Name (John 15:20). Those who choose righteousness, circumstances of suffering will arise on account of their faith in Christ. Our response to such and our strategy for pulling through in such instances however matter.

It is quite ironic that while many would have resorted to railings and weeping and cursing if they were to be in the same situation; Jesus was found praying to God for His persecutors in the heat of His crucifixion. Paul and Silas too had a prayer and praise session in jail (Acts 16:25), and the Bible records that the gates of that jail flung open. Glory to God!

If persecution leaves you in bitterness and unforgiveness, you are not in the will of God. In prayer, you can let go of hurts, find strength to overcome and even get a testimony just as Paul and Silas did. Pray for strength, pray for your persecutors and praise God in anticipation. This is the key; Glory to God!

The Courage To Give

THE COURAGE TO GIVE

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Tuesday, 8th August, 2017.

📜 SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(Matthew 19:22)
“But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.”

🔹 🔹 🔹
There is a certain fear that grips the heart of the natural man each time the opportunity to give arises. He first thinks first about what would be left for his own consumption rather than what need his seed would meet and what harvest it would return. This is however not the way of great men.

Great men are not afraid to give because they have the revelation that God is their source, and that they are mere channels through which God provides for His Kingdom on the earth. They also possess the discipline that even if God required that they empty their pockets, they would do so without a second thought knowing that God is able to replenish them with a hundred fold. You also should possess this understanding.

God’s design is that you become bigger, better and greater by what you give, not necessarily what you receive. There is no one who gave for His course, or gave up possessions for His sake that would not reap in this world a hundred fold, just as He promised (Mar. 10:29-30). So get rid of the fear in your heart and give whatever God lays on your heart to give. Give it in faith and your greatness would surely increase. Halleluyah!

The Courage To Ask

THE COURAGE TO ASK

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Monday, 7th August, 2017.

📜 SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(Matthew 7:7)
“Ask, and it shall be given you;”

🔹 🔹 🔹
Our scriptural text today is not ambiguous at all, and they are the words of Jesus Christ, meaning you can count on them anytime any day. He says, Ask, and it shall be given you. Really? Absolutely! Let that sink into you as you meditate on it for a few seconds.

This means that God already has provisions for me even before I realise the things that I need, and He is eager to give them to me the moment I could just summon the courage to ask Him for these provisions! Could the reason why you have been in lack of a particular resource therefore be that you have not had the wisdom or the courage to ask?

Today, stand up with full assurance in prayer as you bring your petitions before God. Jesus says you shall be given what you ask for, so why keep silent about your needs? He is faithful and just who has promised and He will surely provide for all you need today as you ask. Halleluyah!

Beat Your Body

BEAT YOUR BODY

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Sunday, 6th August, 2017.

📜 SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(1 Corinthians 9:27)
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

🔹 🔹 🔹
So long as the understanding of God’s Word, His plans and purposes are all engrained in our spirits and in our minds, your flesh will never understand the will of God.  More so, the Bible says that the flesh and the spirit always go in opposite directions (Gal. 5:17). This puts believers in a peculiar situation.

Often times, there is a willingness in your heart to do God’s will, but the flesh is uncooperative. Apostle Paul in our scriptural text today states clearly what we must do when our flesh gets in the way of compliance to God’s Word – bring it into subjection!

If you know you ought to pray, do not listen to the dictates of the flesh. Instead, coerce it. Making an excuse of tiredness or sleepiness when you ought to study the Word or head to Church would only rob you of spiritual benefits and blessings. Hence, beat your body when you need to, and do God’s will nonetheless.

Insist On God's Will

INSIST ON GOD’S WILL

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Saturday, 5th August, 2017.

 ðŸ“œ SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(2 Peter 1:3)
_“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

🔹 🔹 🔹
In our scriptural text today, we see that God has already given unto us all that we need for life and godliness.

The devil is not a respecter of persons. In fact, he does not back down from his attempt to harass you or interfere with God’s plan for your life just because you said so, as he only bows to the Word of God spoken consistently in understanding and in faith. Hence, you must enforce your victory over him again and again by the Word of God.

In prayer, we enforce the will of God. This means that we stand on what God has said and insist on its implementation in the face of contrary happenings. Regardless of what may be happening around you, you can pull God’s provision and turn things around when you stand in prayer to bring God’s Word to Him. If you insist on God’s will, you will experience nothing short. Halleluyah! In our scriptural text today, we see that God has already given unto us all that we need for life and godliness.

Handle The Strong Man

HANDLE THE STRONG MAN

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Friday, 4th August, 2017.

 ðŸ“œ SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(Luke 11:21-22)
“When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in place. But when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him. He taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and divided his spoils.”

🔹 🔹 🔹
The Devil is the “strong man” that does not want people to be saved. He has the vision to steal from them, kill and destroy them, heaping miseries upon their souls while holding them in the bondage of sin. Everyone who is ignorant of the salvation in Christ Jesus is under his influence.

However, our scriptural text today shows us that as witnesses, we come as the “stronger man”, walking in the authority of Jesus. We can bind him and set souls free, using the name of Jesus. Every true witness should learn to bind the devil and demons that hold back souls that need to be saved in captivity. This is crucial.

Even after a soul has already been saved, the devil will make several efforts to have such a soul back. It is of paramount importance therefore that we constantly bind the devil that wants the soul back. This way, we can resist the devil until he gives up on that soul to the Glory of God. Halleluyah!

Stand For The Oppressed

STAND FOR THE OPPRESSED

🔶🔸METAMORPHOSIS
(#1 Daily Devotional  Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)

📆  Thursday, 3rd August, 2017.

 ðŸ“œ SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
(Genesis 19:6-7)
“And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, and said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.”

🔹 🔹 🔹
Even Lot had his faith tested on a day when the city of Sodom and Gomorrah was to go down. Outside his door were a group of unreasonable men who desired to rape his guests, but we see in our scriptural text today how that he stood against their plot, putting himself at risk thereby.

Often times, kindness would involve sticking out your neck for what you know to be right, insisting for justice on behalf of the oppressed. Rather than keeping mute and pretending not to have noticed, kindness demands that you use your influence or advantage to defend and protect the vulnerable to the best of your ability. Glory to God!

Isaiah 1:17 summarises all this in one sentence: “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.” Live out God’s kindness today by speaking out for the cause of the disadvantaged. Halleluyah!
